Rolando Vargas Urrutia.

Fotógrafo y diseñador. Estudió diseño de modas en el Sacramento City Collage en California y aunque ha cursado varios talleres de Fotografía su formación ha sido autodidacta. 

Vive y trabaja entre Sacramento, California y Guadalajara, Jalisco, México.

Ha dedicado gran parte de su carrera a los géneros del retrato y desnudo. 

Amante de la gastronomía y la culinaria. Es experto en cocina mexicana contemporánea. Ha recorrido el noreste y el sureste de México, donde se encuentran las culturas originarias que son de su interés. Actualmente los temas de su trabajo, oscilan entre la relación del mundo natural vegetal y lo artificial o sintético,

se enfoca en la sensualidad del paisaje anatómico del desnudo, gusta jugar con lo sensual del cuerpo y la identidad del modelo, generando un resultado poético y escultórico; un caleidoscopio de texturas y movimiento estático captado por su ojo agudo y delicado.

Photographer and designer. He studied fashion design in the Sacramento City College in California and although he has attended several photography workshops, his training has been self-taught.

He lives and works between Sacramento, California U.S. and Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

He has devoted much of his career to the genres of portraiture and nude, 

gastronomy and culinary lover he is an expert in contemporary Mexican cuisine. He has traveled the northeast and southeast of Mexico, where the native cultures that are of interest to him, are found. Currently the themes of his work oscillate between  the natural  world with the artificial and the sensuality of the anatomical landscape of  the nude. He enjoys working with the body’s intecrecy and the model’s identity, generating poetic sculptural results. His ouvre is a kaleidoscope of textures and static movement captured by his acute, delicate artistic eye.
